CBM S.c.r.l. is endowed with a Quality Management System aimed at complying with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 regulation.

In December 2008, CBM was certified according to this standard within these areas of application:

• Genomics services supply: genotyping and gene expression
• Design and supply of bioinformatics data analysis
• Design and supply of optical imaging services

Through its own Quality Management System, the CBM took charge of ensuring that the company processes are integrated. The integration and interconnectivity of CBM's services will guarantee a high level of customer service through appropriate identification, implementation, regulation and improvement.

With this aim, CBM’s management took upon themselves to define functional solutions to ensure continued compliance with the following commitments:

1. quality, defined as meeting the expectations of the customer, is considered maximum priority;
2. positive working relationships based upon truthfulness, mutual respect and honesty; moreover, it is crucial to work as a team, attempting to solve issues together in a constructive manner;
3. pursuit of constant improvement, which implies actively looking for opportunities to identify defects and anomalies, eliminating their causes and preventing their reiteration;
4. constant personnel training is CBM strategy to achieve ever higher quality standards;
5. systematic planning of all the various activities related to the Company’s processes;
6. availability of technical resources and specialized competences in support of activities;
7. identification and application of a monitoring system granting constant adjustments and improvement plans implementation.
