Summer School 2010 - Personalised Medicine "Nutrition and Health"

BM, with the support of AREA Science Park and the Central European Initiative (CEI), will host the 2010 Personalised Medicine Summer School from 14-16 July 2010.

The event attracts over 100 postgraduate students from Italy and other CEI member countries. In 2009 the focus was "Nutrition and Health" and, due to the success of the School, this has been extended to 2010 with lectures on Nutrigenomics, Food and Health, Food and Genetics and Nutrition related diseases.

Registration for and attendance of the Summer School is free of charge, subject to availability. Please note that the deadline for registration is 9 July 2010.

The School funds a limited number of scholarships to cover living expenses (catering and accommodation) for researchers who will be selected on the basis of their CV. In addition, this year, scholarships (to include travel from CEI countries) will also be awarded.

DEADLINE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR SCHOLARSHIP WAS 21 JUNE

Selected students will have the possibility to present their own work during the School. In order to be selected for the poster presentation session, please send an abstract to the summerschool [at] cbm [dot] fvg [dot] it (school secretariat) no later than 30 June 2010.
