Atomic Force Microscopes

Atomic force microscopy (AFM)  is a very high-resolution type of scanning probe microscopy, with demonstrated resolution on the order of fractions of a nanometer, more than 1000 times better than the optical diffraction limit.

Optical Tweezers

The Optical Tweezer lab is equipped with a fluorescence microscope with optical tweezers capability. By combining fluorescence signals with optical tweezers it is possible to carry out single molecule manipulation paired with in vitro and in vivo analysis.
