Stem Cells

The laboratory is dedicated to the study on the mechanisms of regulation and proliferation/differentiation of stem cells and on their therapeutic applications in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Located in the Interdepartmental Centre for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Udine, It works on the development of protocols for maintaining cultures of adult stem cells (e.g. medullary, hepatic, cardiac), experimental assays for in vitro dosage and certified protocols for the production of tissue for clinical use.
