Progetto MITO Mirata Terapia Oncologica

Il principale obiettivo del progetto MITO è lo sviluppo di tecnologie innovative che analizzino in modo semplice e riproducibile le specificità dei geni coinvolti nella risposta individuale ai farmaci chemioterapici. Grazie ai profili genetici, ottenuti sia dal DNA del paziente sia dalle cellule del suo tumore, sarà possibile progettare cure su misura, personalizzate, cucite come un abito sulle caratteristiche del singolo individuo.
