CBM Cluster in Biomedicine: the bridge between public research and industry.
CBM is a public-private company, founded with the ambitious mission of acting as a bridge between public research and industry in an extremely important sector, that of “personalised medicine”. It coordinates the Technology Cluster in Biomedicine of Friuli Venezia Giulia, established in 2004 through a framework agreement signed and financed by the Ministry of Education, University and Research and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.  read more »

The facility supports the analysis of complex biomedical data deriving from advanced technologies of genomics and proteomics

CBM Services

Spotlight:

The Bioinformatics Service supports the analysis of complex biomedical data deriving from advanced technologies of genomics and proteomics. We are particularly focused on the provision of customized solutions tackling the integration and analysis of complex datasets, as well as the analysis of data derived from other CBM services.

Research Projects

Focus on:

Nutriheart (Malattie cardiovascolari: dai fattori di rischio genetico ed ambientale alla prevenzione mediante componenti nutrizionali innovativi)

The ultimate goal of the project is the development of new products and services such as functional foods, personalized diet, supplements, nutraceuticals, kit for early diagnosis to enable the recognition of genetic variants and risk of new biomarkers for cardiovascular diseases.
